Mobility scooters are powered / electric scooters that enable people to get from one place to another more easily. A mobility scooter has a chair for the person to sit down on, wheels, and the steering and control panel at the front. At the flick of a switch the scooter is on the move and the person can steer the scooter using the handles. Mobility scooters are available in a wide range of options and colours. Mobility scooters have different maximum speeds ranging from 4-8 mph. You can also choose from Pavement Mobility Scooters, which are great for travelling on the pavement oppose to the road as they are more narrow and so take up less space on the ground with 10 inch wheels for great traction, or Travel Mobility Scooters which are used for going longer distances with puncture proof wheels and being easy to dismantle and re-assemble to fit into the boot of a car.
